JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Sr. Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the definition, requirements, design and delivery of new and/or adaptation of current Intuit offerings for international markets. You will play a quarterback role in partnering with all cross functional leaders and team members to deliver the approaches and work required for an offering to succeed in the market.
The role will be measured by delivering high quality, innovative solutions which delight our customers, are adopted by the market and competitively differentiated. Manage timely deliverables with strong communication, building teams and cross functional partnering. Ability to gain shared vision on challenging decisions which impact various teams and the offering. Success will require closely engaging the market (distribution channels, market influencers) and our customers to define and drive delivery of a product which customers cant imagine how they worked or operated without. Candidates must have a can do attitude and be comfortable working in fast paced, unstructured environment where a winning team will be in remote locations. The role will lead/manage a cross-functional team to deliver on the growing needs for our investment management product suite, but the role will be hands on with the offering details and require accountability for the key deliverables and related business results.
Qualifications: • Experienced offering leader who translates a market opportunities and client needs into a clear defined offering vision, roadmap and offering design which will meet the business goals and win in the marketplace.
• Experienced people manager or leader. Management/leadership experience which engages and inspires teams with new ideas, clear decision making and priorities as well as passion for growing and developing people.
• Experience driving brand new v1 offerings ...from concept and ideation through successful market launch and ongoing management and understand the end to end needs and potential pitfalls related to new offerings.
• Customer-driven innovation based on understanding unique customer needs and defining and driving the desired end-to-end customer experience
• Analytic & strategic thinking based on deriving insights from disparate pieces of information and translating those insights into solutions for a winning product by leveraging solid understanding and years of experience with investment management.
• Solid decision making skills despite ambiguous data and situations. Considers upstream and downstream operational impacts as decision inputs. Balances long-term vs. short-term objectives
• Strong planning acumen and self starter that clearly prioritizes against product delivery goals and manages the overall market launch program
• Operational effectiveness by demonstrating effective project management skills for complex projects, anticipates likely risks, putting mitigation plans in place, drives recommendations and proactive communication of issues to leadership
• Communication strengths to anticipate needs and ensure teams have the information they need to be effective, presents effectively to executives and cross-functional leaders
• Adaptability and change leadership, modifying approach as needed, independently creating a plan to drive desired outcomes, surfacing unstated or subtle differences in opinion, making implicit issues explicit, creating shared vision on a team
• Enterprise financial application product management experience
• Financial background and experience in some or all of the following
o Real estate finance (acquisitions/dispositions, equity funding, joint venture structures, performance metrics including AIMR returns, IRRs etc.)
o Funds (open ended, funds of funds, investor management, fund structures, fund accounting)
o Debt Structuring including derivatives associated with debt, mezzanine debt, etc.
o Exposure or experience in capital markets and/or financial services including private equity, hedge/mutual funds, derivatives, banking, venture capital
o Strong accounting background or experience in partnership accounting, fund accounting, CPA optional
• Financial Systems experience with enterprise financial applications in financial services and/or real estate
• Proven experience interfacing with C-level client personnel, understanding key business processes, driving requirements
• Project management experience with proven ability to drive projects to completion on time and within budget
