VP/SVP, Account Group Supervisor

Our client is a Top 10 Healthcare PR firm in the US and is looking for a VP Account Supervisor to join our rapidly growing, dynamic team.  Headquartered in Philadelphia, our client is an independent agency with a national reputation for creative, results-driven campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS:  As a VP, Account Supervisor, you have:

• Seven to ten years of healthcare communications experience (preferably agency or corporate/in-house)


• A bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university


• Superior writing and editing skills


• Strong media relations experience with demonstrated experience in building relationships with medical/healthcare reporters and editors


• Excellent verbal and presentation skills


• Experience in managing a staff


• Previous experience interacting and advising clients


• The keen ability to juggle a number of projects at once.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  As one of our Account Supervisors, you will:

• Manage the account team and budget of one or more sizable accounts


• Develop and execute strategies for leading healthcare companies


• Deliver superior media results, including pitching strategy, material preparation, media outreach, results reporting


• Effectively delegate tactical assignments and oversee the work of all AS’s on his/her accounts


• Have/develop a comprehensive understanding of his/her account’s technology, products, markets, personnel, KOLs, outside influencers, etc. and be able to identify appropriate communications needs

Develop and edit high quality written materials, including media correspondence, bylines, op-eds, etc.
