Come join Intuit as part of the Consumer Group team as a Senior Marketing Manager, New Business Initiatives. We are looking for creative problem solvers with a passion for innovation to join our team and revolutionize the way the world does business.

The Senior Marketing Manager, New Business Initiatives conceptualizes, develops and leads the "go to market" strategy/plans for new product/business initiatives. Works synergistically with cross functional groups, especially product management. Is expert at developing actionable customer segmentation/understanding, and converting those into actionable and measurable marketing/commercialization plans.
The Senior Marketing Manager, New Business Initiatives reports to a Marketing Director and interacts closely with all members of the TurboTax and Quicken product, marketing, sales and support teams. Responsibilities include:
Define and manage overall go-to-market, new customer acquisition strategy in order to drive dramatically higher numbers of new customers and subsequent revenue growth.
Deep "end customer" understanding:
o Who would use such new products/services, and why?
o What insights can we leverage to drive trial and adoption?
o What benefits/advantages are most appealing to targeted sub segments?
o How can we develop deeper relationships with these customers to retain them and grow their engagement with Intuit?
Deep understanding of potential competitors:
o Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats
o Probable marketing objectives, targeting, plans
o How our plans will beat the competition
Developing actionable and measurable commercialization/marketing plans that meet objectives and accelerate our success:
o Understanding the appeal and success of launch efforts/offers; their appeal, competitiveness, operational impact, with two-year implications
o Developing measurable milestones and learning plans for new product/"beta" launches.
o Ensure that the business is delivering best-of-breed solutions that over-deliver against prospect expectations
o Developing synergistic relationship with marketing channels; assisted sales, web sites, online advertising, direct marketing, trade shows, and PR

 

Qualifications:

 

Marketing professional with 4-6 years of progressive experience.
A track record of demonstrating deep consumer understanding that led to profitable business growth.
Business success at companies known for building great and profitable new products/services, especially in the consumer and/or financial services markets.
Track record of success working and influencing a fast-paced, matrixed, multi-unit organization at all levels, being persuasive and effective even where no direct reporting relationship exists.
Ability to develop a go-to-market strategy and frame the commercialization requirements to drive cross-functional support.
Strong prioritization skills enabling the team to do a great job on the right things and empowering them to choose what not to do.
Experience marketing mobile offerings/applications is preferred, but not required
B.S./B.A. degree in an appropriate field. MBA preferred.
