Thats the charge of a Product Manager at Microsoft. Each year Microsoft invests billions of dollars in research and development to explore technologies that will positively impact businesses and now enterprise healthcare providers.

The Director, Imaging Product Manager for HSG is an experienced professional whose specific responsibilities include:
1) Leading the annual planning and strategy process for HSG Imaging Products.
2) Driving the HSG Amalga Imaging roadmap in collaboration with customers and product development while also layering in feedback from the medical imaging market
3) Driving investigation into adjacent market segments and advocating those recommendations into the organization.
4) Growing our understanding of the global healthcare markets and prioritize our approach outside of our primary target geographies.
5) Creating and maintaining a framework for the HSG pricing models focusing on disruptive pricing and packaging solutions that drive Microsoft market share.
6) Lead the Go-To-Market (GTM) virtual team for imaging products at HSG.
7) Being a sought after as a thought leader for imaging and product strategy within the organization
8) This position also requires ability to travel extensively as it will contain both US domestic and international travel responsibilities.

Success in this role will require the development of strong working relationships and interactions with customers, senior executives, technical leaders and other product & marketing groups across Microsoft. The successful candidates will have a minimum of 10+ years product management experience including 8+ years in healthcare IT medical imaging. The position requires 40 to 60% domestic and international travel. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication abilities, passion for technology and customers, and business strategy skills as well as high energy and passion for their work. Experience launching products and working with sales teams and partners to understand marketing requirements in order to drive content and messaging creation is preferred.

This individual must possess high initiative and have the ability to work in a strong team environment. The ideal candidate possesses excellent technical, marketing and business analysis skills, well-developed strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate and coordinate with a variety of product development, marketing, sales, and business development teams. This role requires excellent communication, writing and organizational skills, be able to manage deadlines and deliverables and to direct effectively, efforts of cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:
10+ years of product management experience including 8+ years of product management/marketing experience in healthcare IT medical imaging
Knowledge of the global medical imaging market
Experience in creating new disruptive businesses or business models
BA/BS required in a related field or equivalent. MBA or MD preferred.
Detail orientation and the ability to prioritize projects, features and meet deadlines.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and superior presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills including the ability to coordinate data from a variety of sources
Team player with good interpersonal skills who is able to perform well under pressure Global
