Product Director, Lymphoma - Marketing
Woodcliff Lake, NJ

Job Description   

The Product Director for Lymphoma Oncology Brands will be responsible for creating and overseeing the implementation of marketing strategies for the Lymphoma franchise. Must ensure that the Brands attain all of their sales and profit goals. Oversee strategic alliance and/or co-promote strategies as appropriate. Optimize promotional activities using leadership skills across functional lines and include coordination of strategies with the publication and medical teams. Provide strategic input in life cycle management of the Brands.

Communicate marketing needs and provide commercial input for Brand lifecycle management. Initiate business-planning activities for these opportunities such as analyzing current market trends, market needs, competitive environment and commercial feasibility. Provide marketing input in the clinical development plan of these initiatives. Conduct pre-marketing activities such as advisory board meetings and publications, for lifecycle compounds in clinical development. Communicate on a global / company basis with various internal work groups, committees and teams to ensure successful accomplishment of projects related to the Brand franchise. Provide leadership and manage the career development of direct reports, including a professional and exempt staff of Product Managers and others.

Product Director Key Brand Responsibilities
o Lead multi-functional team in all aspects of professional and/or consumer campaign development
o Key input for sales force sizing, targeting and physician segmentation
o Responsible for strategic creation of business plans
o Lead forecasting, pricing, labeling and life cycle management initiatives with commercial perspective and P&L responsibilities
o Provide input and commercial analysis for packaging, inventory and COGs
o Consensus building with team members from all appropriate organizations
o Interface with legal, medical, finance, business development and R&D
o Hire and build cross functional product management team with direct reports


Job Qualifications   
This role requires a minimum of 8-10 years of marketing with significant Liquid Tumor experience as well as brand business planning, life cycle planning, NVP analysis, supply chain management, forecasting, P&L responsibility and direct people management.  Must have experience running a major brand franchise (> $100 million) .
