Role Definition:


 


We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the go to market strategy, enablement and evangelism for our desktop virtualization solutions including physical desktops as well as virtual desktop infrastructure. 


 


The successful candidate will be driven by a fast paced environment where challenges await for them around every turn.  Must have a positive attitude and be a team player that others can rely on to deliver on-time with quality results.  Required skills include the ability to communicate with customers and interpret information into market based requirements.  Must be able to add value to the team by bringing innovation and a hunger to take market share away from incumbents.   In depth understanding of desktop and/or server virtualization technology is highly desired. 


 


 Primary Responsibilities:


 



  • Perform market research on overall landscape, competitive strategies & pricing analysis to formulate overall go to market approach, routes to market and approach to winning  aimed at business & enterprise customers.

  • Prepare presentations and other key materials to drive pipeline creation and  to support field marketing in both live speaking engagements as well as online webinars to evangelize the company solutions according to messaging strategy.

  • Diagnose competitors messaging and products to create accurate competitive battle cards and sales strategies that grow the business and enable sales to close business.

  • Partner closely with sales teams and arm them with training, content, and sales tools

  • Work across teams in the company to coordinate, influence and encourage product line success


 This Position Requires:


 



  • BS/BA degree, plus MS/MA/MBA preferred;

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software product marketing/management or senior sales engineering role

  • Strong oral and written English communication abilities

  • Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to accuracy and quality of work

  • A passion for outstanding product marketing and for the power of brand is desirable
