About the Team
You will be joining a new division focused on bringing to market a set of behavioral targeting products for the online advertising space. These solutions enable more precise, scalable, and efficient online advertising. You will be working with the largest Publishers, Advertisers, and Ad Networks on the Internet today.
About the Job
The right candidate would be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision and working closely with account management, sales, engineering, business development, marketing and the executive team to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. In addition, the product manager will perform qualitative and quantitative research with existing customers and potential prospects.
This includes on-going assessments within the context of the competitive landscape and analysis of product usage and acceptance.
Based on market-driven feedback from customers and prospects, the product manager will create a product road map and write clear business requirements for the product feature and function set.
The right candidate will work closely with product development to define the contents and delivery of a product release.
In addition, the product manager will perform sales, trend, and profitability analysis.
As products come to market, the right candidate will develop a company-wide marketing plan, working with all departments to execute. Responsibilities also include ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Responsibilities
* Own the business plan, strategy, forecasting, pricing and positioning of a highly differentiated, new service offering.
* Define and implement a product roadmap.
* Manage product through initial launch and follow-on releases.
* Interact with early adopter customers to define market requirements.
* Provide actionable guidance to engineering with clear prioritization of development efforts.
* Develop product collateral such as technical white papers, presentations, sales tools, and competitive analyses.
* Create and deliver sales training for the direct sales force and the technical services and support teams.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
* Education: Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred.
* Overall Experience: 10+ or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years of experience in product management or product development.
* 7+ years of experience in online advertising industry.
Desired Qualifications
* High degree of technical expertise and business acumen.
* Highly self-motivated, proactive and self-sufficient with the ability to motivate and drive a team of intelligent, creative, and opinionated colleagues.
* Knowledge and/or background in Internet technologies.
* Willing to travel approximately 50%.
