JOB DESCRIPTION

Sr. Product Marketing Manager


 


This is an opportunity to be part of one of the worlds largest network of independent service providers to the rotating equipment industry, with operations worldwide. You will drive the development of new business in repair, maintenance, upgrading and service of turbomachinery and related rotating equipment in the power generation field.   


 


Responsibilities: 



  • Improving and developing marketing strategies to create new opportunities for business in the energy industry.

  • Responsible for developing sales forecast, setting performance goals, training and evaluation staff, and overall management of product marketing

  • Direct Regional Marketing Managers and the marketing team in creating and presenting the company’s products and capabilities as the best solutions for current and new clients

  • Directing development of the company-specific marketing information and communications as well as participating in energy industry trade and investment shows

  • Coordination and participation in product presentation, RFQ’s, contract reviews, Q&A procedures, pricing, and determination of the profitability of all projects

  • Conduct and evaluate market research for product development, client feed back, marketing strategy updates, competitive conditions, pricing strategy, etc to improve and expand world wide market share for the company.  

  • Manage and Analyze budget by determining budgetary requirements and controlling department expenditures

  • Involvement in the legal, financial and technical contractual negotiations with current and new power industry clients.

  • Interacting with customers on a regular basis for update purposes on the progress of projects

  • Collaborating and drawing from all departments of the company to ensure the highest quality onsite and field work

 


Requirements:



  • BS or BS Degree or equivalent

  • 10+ years experience with energy turbomachinery systems or related field

  • 7+ years experience, sourcing, negotiation and closure of complex long-term projects and contracts

  • 4+ years supervisory experience of marketing and sales staff

  • Responsibility for managing budgets, profit/loss, etc

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Experience coordinating teams and  working on multiple projects 

  • The ability to travel 20-30% of the time

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
