Top Interactive agency is looking for a creative, intelligent and proactive Director of Online Marketing to join their team and play a pivotal role in the development and growth of the leading interactive agency for luxury, fashion, and retail brands.  Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Online Marketing will be primarily responsible for growing and managing our Media business.

Responsibilities:



  • Drive revenue growth through new business development and serve as a Media expert for interactive marketing programs

  • Manage media team and workflow across a number of client accounts

  • Demonstrate expertise in and knowledge of SEM, SEO, display, affiliate and email marketing, media planning/buying, and industry trends

  • Work cross-functionally to collaborate with client teams (i.e. Account Directors, Account Supervisors, Associate Media Directors, Media Supervisors and Planners), and provide strategic direction to team members on Client assignments.

  • Work collaboratively cross-functionally with other senior level managers in the organization (e.g. Account Management, Strategy, Technology, Creative, etc.) to identify and resolve any business issues

  • Maintain accountability for the quality, strategy and integrity of media plans/strategies/ services delivered to their clients; resulting in the cultivation of client loyalty and retention. This includes the planning, buying and execution processes; and managing/guiding the media staff in the continuous evaluation of, and improvement upon, media opportunities for our clients.

  • Develop, implement, and manage customer learning plan and strategy recommendation process; identify needs and resources. Define key performance indicators for each initiative.

  • Help cultivate and develop media/vendor relationships, and monitor the progress of Agency relationships and contracts.


Requirements:



  • MUST HAVE 6+ years of prior media experience specifically within the digital/interactive marketing and advertising industry

  • MUST HAVE minimum of 3+ years of business development and staff management

  • A solid understanding of advertising, marketing and strategic brand management and how to best leverage these in a digital environment.

  • Knowledge of the digital marketing and advertising landscape, the unique technical aspects of the medium and their impact on the development and execution of media strategies

  • Ability to delegate efficiently and manage internal media teams in the development and execution of effective plans for clients.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and take proactive initiatives
